How do I start a new thread?

New to this so bare with me, can someone er! tell me how to start a new post! ?

Hi Bobcat. Welcome to Fishlore.

1/ Navigate to where you want to post your new thread (e.g. http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/how-do-i/ in the case of this one)

2/ Then click on the 'new thread' button just on top of the list of existing thread titles.
