time for a heater...

Hello, I have a 5gallon fish tank thats houseing a tropical community of fish, and its been warm for the last few months that I've had it (summer/ early fall), and now its getting very cold (winter is around the couner)....

And now my temp is pretty cold, and I'm looking for a good heater, or do i even need one?

Thanks

the tetras, frogs, and ottos definately need the warmer temps..the others can go lower but ALL of them need stable temps..even when its warmer seasons, a fluctuating temp, isnt good..ICH can be a major issue without a heater for tropicals as it goes up and down with the temp changes and they dont care for that a bit....

yeah, over crowding is an issue, but i'm setting up a second tank to help with that....
so i guess a heater is a good idea then

thank you very very much for your help
