basements temps

k so my basement just like everybody elses in a climate like mine (ohio) in the winter gets pretty cold.... and it doesnt help that my dad keep my houde cold... but any ways... i now have 5 tanks on my small buget plan of a 14 year old. 2 new tanks are coming in the next 2 weeks to help me breed my rams. im moving them to my basement to have 5 down there and only my show and gumball machine (is a fish tank) in my room up stairs....
so my Q is what do i need heater wise for my tanks to prep for the winter. since its underground it should stay around 68-70 all year.... at least thats what my dad said. i personally think it will get colder.

any ways.

its for a

10g
10g
10g
20g
30g

and the 20g and 30g might be bumped up to 30g and 40g

now since its the basement and i will not be looking at the tank every day when i wake up for school at 6 im think 2 smaller heaters in each tank....

14 year olds budget so lowere cost is better so ultimatly i need to eather fin cheaper heaters or get 1 bigger one per tank....

im thinking 10g will need to 25 watters or a 50
20 will need a 75 watt and a 25watt as backup in case the 75 breaks just so it can gradually lowere the tank to said 70 degrees.
for the 30g i was thinking a 100 watter and a 25 or a 75 and a 50 while 75 and 50 is perferalble.

im not shure bout a 40 if thats the case....
help me im a wreck

If you are gonna breed rams, you'll need the tank to be over 80. My recomendation is to get larger heaters than are called for. 50 for the 10, 100 for the 20 and perhaps a 150 for the 30.

ya it looks like one of 25's isnt going to fare well down theres so theres a new heater and for the rams ya i know.... about the temps that is as im currently keeping them at 80-81. as for the 30/40/....20 i guess i get to rethink this
