submersible heater question

elite mini submersibles. are they actually 100% submersible? like i can put the whole thing on the bottom of the tank?

Yes, I have a couple. You can even bury it under the gravel.

Yes it can be submersed

I'm not sure about puting it under the substrate though as this could cause a heat build up.

Good morning I agree with ButterFly. I've never heard of a heater that can go under the gravel. Follow the instructions on the package.

I'm pretty sure it says it can be burried under gravel, which is why I do it. I wouldn't try that on my own
