Hi, I am just wonder what is a good brand or good one for a submersible heater to buy?

I don't want a heater that is easy for the glasses to crack

I use the Marineland Visi-therm Stealth on all my tanks. They're encased in a plastic rather than glass. Never had any problems.

I just got a in-line heater and really like not having the cluter in the tank. Its a Hydor ETH 300w.

Quick question.. if my tank is 15 gallon and I buy a 100W heater is that over doing it?

I think 100W would be fine. I like the visi-therm stealth as well.

yes.. it's for my turltle the glass one keep breaking on me..

what temperature do you need to keep it at? Is room temp warm enough?

Am thinking of getting one of those visi-therm stealths online because my current hang-on-back heater won't ever go lower than 28C. That's a bit warm. I got it with a kit from Petcetera and can't exchange it.

Do the gauges on visi-therm stealth heaters have temperatures in Celsius as well as Fahrenheit? Would the 100W one be appropriate for my 20 gallon tank?
