Heater wattage

As the temperatures outside have been dropping, I'm having some issues keeping the temps in my tanks regulated, so I thought I'd check with you guys to make sure I've got ones that are big enough. I bought the sizes that were recommended on the packaging, but in hindsight I probably should have bought bigger ones. Currently I have:

50W in the 5 gal betta tank
200W in the 29 gal tetra tank
200W in the 55 gal community tank

All are good quality, so that isn't the issue. It's mainly my 55 gal that I'm having problems with...the 29 is doing pretty well I think. Please let me know if I need more wattage...it would be much appreciated

If your having problems with the 55 losing temp then I would look at placing another 200w in there and just set them at the same temp.
Or get a 300w and keep the 200w as a spare.

Although one 300W should handle 55G unless cold spell but having another 200W with what you have is better idea and it should work as back up to each other in case one fails.
