Heater for 2.5 gallon

Hi Folks!

Ended up getting a 2.5 gallon mini-bow today for a betta that will be the topic of another post. (A true rescue.)

I don't like the heater here. Reviews were not favorable enough for me and I really desire something with a temperature control knob. With this particular heater it looks like you have to plug up and unplug the heater depending on the room temp and tank temp as it has no auto shut off.

Any suggestions? Links and advice welcome.

At my Walmart they have little heaters that are for 2 to 10 gallons. It has no temp control knob but it keeps it between 76-80 I think and has a auto shutoff..They are pretty cheap..Dying to see your betta rescue

visiterm stealth heathers is what i have in one of my 2.5's it works really well. there is also anther one that is put out by elite that is even smaller and i haven't had any troubles with it yet either both are submersible. I'll google and see if I can find a link or two for you.

I'd probably go with a 25w visi-therm stealth.

Id rather recommend the Hydor-Mini. It is only 7ish watts but it reallt helps keeping the temperature where it has to be... I use it for my 5 gallon, I live in a very cold house and it keeps the temps 78-80 always.
