2nd heater in 3 months

I think my second heater has burned out. I buy the proper heaters for the tank size and install them according to directions, letting them adjust before plugging them in and allowing them to come up slowly. Why are they burning out? The first came with the kit, an Aqeon and the second wasn't cheap and is a Topfin. The second worked a lot longer (maybe 2 months) than the first but still not very long if you ask me. I will be hitting the LFS tonight, any suggestions? (29g).

Topfin heaters are sometimes pricey, but they are definitely cheaply made... I would recommend the Theo Hydor submersible heaters, they are one of the best available

Here's a link....

I like the visi-therm stealth heaters, they're reliable shatter proof and gauranteed for life.

If you get them at petsmart, go to their website first and print out the page with the price, they'll match it.
I saved $14.00 by doing that on my 50w's.
