I need heater info!!

I just bought a 55 kit and with it came a Marineland Neptune 200 Watt Heater. Is this a submersible heater? If not how do you mount it? It does not say submersible on the box and the directions are junk. When I google it I find no info except for a couple of ebay auctions where the sellers are calling it a submersible. The lip of the tank where the top sets is in the way if it is not submersible. There water line would be 2" lower than it should be if it is not a submersible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i cannot find anything on a heater called neptune either, but you could call marineland and ask them about it. i didn't think they even made ones that are not submersible but that's not something you'd want to gamble on.

I did google itm Mine does not look like the one in the picture. The topis different. Mine has a flat top with the adjustment knob being flush with the top. Also there is nothing on the end.

Thanks for the help. Now that it is installed I have to say that I would not recomend this heater. This thing is a pain to adjust. Every heater I have had in the past either had a knob or a lever on a knob to adjust it. This thing has a dial. In order to adjust it Both hands need to be in the tank. One to hold the heater in place and the other to move the dial, which also does not move easily.
Also I purchased a HYDOR submersible air pump. This thing is excellent. No noise and lots of bubbles. It is buried almost completely in the gravel and I put a plant in front of the cord so it is practically invisible.

Kewl!
I also had one of those that were dial.. ugggh.. your right about the pain it is. Having to use two hands in the tank, and it really was hard to move the dial. Im so glad that I dont have that one anymore either! lol...

Marineland heaters are all like that for the adjustment... They make you work for it at first but the adjustment will never ever "accidentally" change which is the point behind the hard to turn dial.

I have 4 such heaters all stealths and all the same. I personally love them because they are so darn consistent..

P.S. congrats on the kit!!
