I was told on another thread that I should get a heater for my 2.5g... How many watts do I need and where could i find one for that size tank. Also I've heard of under gravel heaters.... does anyone know about those?!

A 25w heater would be good. Either a Visitherm Stealth or a Hydor Theo would make a good submersible heater for your 2.5g.

the submersible heater heats the whole water...and not just one certain spot right? what about the gravel won't it make it really hot? hopefully i can find one... i think that a regular heater will be just to crowded in my 2.5

I had a short little heater for my 2 gallon tank when I had it. It wasn't the best, it was one of those types that only heated the water up a few degrees... but sometimes that's all you need to get you to the correct temp. i got it at walmart for around $6 i think.
there are also a few on the dfs website that are for smaller tanks.

The best heater I've found for 2.5 gal tanks is the submersible 25 watt Hydor Theo heater.

Yes, it will heat the whole tank, and no, it won't make the gravel hot!

it says that it's not fully submersible so where should i put it?

It's fully submersible. The description is just saying that the heater will automatically shut off if it's not fully submerged - which can save the heater from breaking.
