Good news: I just say a white saddle on a female (Annoyingly, all the ones at my LFS were female!) which means she's ready to breed! Now I have to get my males from the internet!

He has red Cherry shrimp, and is buying Red Crystal shrimp. 2 different things (but their names are so anoyingly close, that is why you have to use scientific names.)

6 Shrimp isn't that many, especially if they are all females.

When was I going for Crystal reds? I'm sticking to cherries until another tank with 'Shrimp' stamped on it comes along.

I only had 6 females - in order to bred them I would need males as well. Make sense?
