HELP: My guppy's pregnancy!

My female guppy has been pregnant now for well over 30 days and the poor thing has been in the breeder box for a week now. She has droped 2 fry a week ago today and no more since. The ones she droped im sure werent ready to come because one stayed in a circular shape for about 24 hours and the other didnt stay alive for long. She is still looking quite big and squarish and i want to take her out of the breeders box because she is getting stressed now but i want to make sure ALL the fry survive and not get eaten. PLEASE HELP!

She will not release her fry if she is stressed. If you have lots of plants(live or artificial) and other hiding/sleeping places some of her fry may survive.

I agree with Carol, if you let her out and keep a close eye on the corners of your tank after because i tend to find a lot of guppy fry their. Not all fry will servive but thats nature for you.

They will hide anywhere they can They have very strong survival instincts (LOL)
I like to have bushy plants in with mine, or some bottom covered one (not sure of their names)best of luck

Mossy type plants tend to provide good hiding spots.

could it be the temperature causing stress?

It Could but guppys can servive in a range of tempartures, i would say around 25 degree's C or 85 Degrees F.

Good morning,

Java Moss would be great for the fry to hide in. Best of luck for healthy fry!
Please keep us posted.

as well as being stressed, guppies eggs can be fertalized at differnt times, so the fry she has in her tummy may not be all the same 'age.' Juice, my female, dropped a few like 3 weeks ago, then dropped about 15 last weekend. its really wierd, but it happens sometimes
