Guppy and Red Wag Platy fry

Hello everyone!
Well, my female tequila sunrise guppy didn't pull through her last pregnancy, but did manage to release a few more babies. I had posted a question a few months ago about guppies mating with platies. I know some of ya'll said that they aren't able to cross-breed and to wait a while since they won't look like the parents in the first few weeks. It's been several months now, and the babies are getting almost tetra size. I am going to have to strongly differ on previous information because the babies look like an orange version of the Platy!!! I don't know if I've come across a miracle, or if maybe they just are able to cross-breed. When I get a better, more crisp picture of the babies i will post it so ya'll can have a looksie!! It's exciting how big they're growing! I can definitely see a resemblance with the guppy too in some of the other babies. It's crazy!! Just thought I'd update with this information to clear up any questions on guppy/platy breeding.
Thanks Again Everyone!!!

if they did breed, it would indeed be a miracle ...after lots of years in the trade, they havent yet ..be interesting to see the pics of all the fish...make sure you get pics of the parents too ....but remember live bearers can hold sperm for many weeks so could have been pregnant when you got them..congrats on the new babies

i have a bunch of platy fry that are nearly identical to that, I'll try to post pics when I get home. They were dropped from a red wag platy (pregnant from LFS) who subsequently died a few weeks later.
