Guppy Fry ~ Normal Looking?

Hello!

I am new to these forums and a new owner of a Fancy Guppy tank. This morning I had my very first batch of Fry. I was so excited that I ran into the bedroom to wake my better half like a kid on Christmas morning. He was not as excited as I...lol. I grabbed the 15 I could to seperate them from the other adults. I took a close up picture and wanted to post it here to make sure that this is the normal fancy guppy look. The little black dots are normal? They are soooo tiny. I didn't expect them to be so small. I have been reading all over the internet on Guppy care to make sure I am taking proper care of my adults and since I have never seen a baby I wanted to make sure the dots and seeing his organs are normal..lol. Not only that... I thought the picture was really neat.

Welcome to Fishlore!

While I haven't seen any guppy fry that young, I've seen others, and that is pretty common. The black dots are likely the beginning of pigmentation.

I'm sure a couple of guppy grandparents will be around soon to confirm/deny this, though.
