Ok, let me know if this is possible, or if i'm completely mislead.....
Here it goes! My female tequila sunrise fancy guppy had babies and immediately we assumed the daddy of the babies was our male spotted fancy guppy. When taking a closer look at the offspring as they get bigger, we noticed they look an awful lot like a mix of the mom and our red wag platy!

Is this even possible? The babies have no spots, but a black rimmed mouth and black fins, like the platy. Their bodies are an orangish red. Just curious to know if platy's are capable of successfully mating with a fancy guppy. Thanks again!!!
