new tank ^^

soo, just wondering if two or three guppies will be ok in a 2.5G heated and filtered glass aquarium?? also, that Cycle product that's supposed to instantly mature new tanks...does it work? XD thanks for all the help ^^ oh! one last thing, if guppies won't work, what other fish(es) would be ok in a 2.5G?? again, thank you!!

...fishes is the plural of fish, right? haha XD

Hi Kanyan and Welcome to Fishlore!

I'd advise not to add any guppies or any other fish in a 2.5g tank. A betta would do nicely in a 2.5g but cleanliness can be very hard to maintain. I'd advise getting a bigger tank if you want to keep 2 or 3 guppies. Maybe a 10g? If a betta, a 5g would do nice too. The cycle product which is called Tetra Safestart (TSS), it does work. Check out the link I provided below, it's a thread about the product itself and some reviews. Hope it helps. Good luck and keep us updated!

Hello Kanyanlim Welcome to FishLore - I hope you're enjoying the forum.

Guppies need about 10g because they need swim room, so they're not a good option for your new tank.

Your 2.5 gallon tank would make a perfect home for an African Dwarf Frog, once the tank is cycled. They are adorable little creatures; here's some info on them: Care Sheet For African Dwarf Frogs

It's really too small for fishies because there's just not enough room to swim and stretch their fins. Great for an ADF, though!

Welcome to Fishlore, it's a great place.
I also would not put guppies in a 2.5 gallon tank. Can you upgrade to a 10 gallon?
