My tank only has two fish so far, a male and female guppy. Now I've noticed at feeding time, since yesterday, the female really picks on the male. In fact, he not only swims away from her, but tries to hide. She's been charging at him, so I'm sure she's being aggresstive. I thought only two males would do this. Any advice?

its probably just breeding behavior.
are you sure you know witch is the male and female male has big colorful fins and female is fat.

Yes, the male has a brighter tail than the female, and the female is fatter. She also has that "gravid" spot. She seems to have mellowed out though, and only chases him a little during feeding time.

My female fish does this too maybe she is stressed out from the male chasing her around and mating her?
