I'm thinking of setting up a small ( 20 or 30 gal) guppie tank and I'm not sure of the ratio male to female.

Sounds like a nice tank. Ratio is quite simple. Female 3:1 male. As long as there is more females than male as you don't want any aggression between the males. Are you planning to have this tank as a tank for your Guppies to breed?

I only want Guppies in this tank. I also want to eventually set up another tank to house the fry as well as fry from my 55 gal tank. i have mollies and plattys that are having babies and the ones that survive I want to move. I'm sorry but I am coming down with MTS!
