| You don't breed the guppies... they do everything themselves! I bet they'd breed in 1" of water! Even getting only females isn't safe... |

| Breeding guppies is easy. Breeding specific traits is the time consuming part.
They have smaller broods than bettas, so there's sometimes a more difficult task of picking the "best" (a subjective term) to breed.
The fry certainly don't need as much attention as betta fry, though. |

| Depending on how much you're spending, you may want to see if you can find another female of the same type. Males are constantly in breeding mode, and will harass a single female, sometimes to death. The higher the female-to-male ratio, the better off everyone in the tank will be.
Edit: It looks like you can add another female.
Also, due to the wording in the auction (and the price of it), I don't think that particular family of guppies has actually won any shows, but who cares? They look really good. Last edited by sirdarksol; October 14th, 2009 at 07:01 PM.

| Thank you Red...If I breed them I'll show them so selling/placing the fry shouldn't be a problem if it is a nice line... |

| 1m to 3-4f is best with guppies...you put 2m with 2f and you will have a war zone with the boys and the galz will never be left alone |

this is a piece of cake ..feed n water walla babies hahha
in a 20g long id go with 1m for every 2f and get a total of 9 if you can ....most wont sell that many fems at once but ya never know dont mix your colors tho..stick with this one type for now...they will intermix and ruin the blood lines |
