| If they were in the tank with guppys at the LFS the females are probably already pregnant. Endlers are truly beautiful little fish in the guppy family but very distinctively different in looks. They are also going extinct in the wild (their habitat is being destroyed) therefore the encourage ment to keep them pure. But LFS will throw them together anyway

| i have a question... what is the difference between the ender and a lyretail guppy? is it just the shape? are endlers smaller? |

| Endlers are much brighter colored, almost flourescent, much smaller than guppys. They can have the lyretail characteristics but they still look different. Frequently the way the lyretail looks is a clue that they are an Endler/guppy mix. The endler tail is very short.
Here's some excellent information on Endlers Livebearers http://members.cox.net/newcomb1/endlers.html

Thanks for the education, Carol | Welcome Shaina they are the sweetest little fish. The males are just tiny little bundles of energy.
Jonah has already nicknamed me the enabler because I have made him crave adding Endlers to his collection

There's even a map showing their natural habitat. I understand the two places they can be found is now right next to a dump.
