so gravid spots on livebearers means pregnant?

I'm new to the pregnant fish scene!
and i am pretty confused as to whether a dark spot before the anal fin means it is pregnant
i've heard guppies are mostly always pregnant hen you buy them if they are not separated from the males at birth
is this the same for other live bearers?

here are pics of my guppies, they look pregnant dont you think? if anyone could help me by telling how long they are along/left to go, it would be much appricated!

gravid spot means female..doesnt always mean pregnant...but with live bearers, if they have had any contact with a male, its usually a sure bet...

It may, but the graid spot is typically bigger, and the belly is more swollen. wait a week or so and if it gets bigger, your going to be a parent.
