Male Guppy transformation??

Hi all! Today I was feeding the boys and noticed that Antwon looked VERY different. When I purchased him, Antwon had a black body with orange dorsal and tail fins. There was some silver spotting towards the very end of his body, before his tail.
Today, I got a really close look at him. It seems like his dorsal fin has gotten bigger, more elaborate almost. His tail seems more orange, longer, the silver spots have gotten bigger and it looks the tail is starting to SPLIT! None of the boys are fin-nippers and it looks very natural, like it's just coming apart right there. He looks great. None of the other boys have had a dramatic change.

Has anyone else had such a change come over a store-bought male guppy?

The guppies are probably starting to color up. Also, now that they're in a a healthy tank, they will begin to show it.

could be a fungal issue (fin rot) , if you say their is some discoloration, would it be possible to post a pic / water parameters also 5g seems abit small for 3 guppies.

Mike

P.S

I had a yellow tail guppy develop a black outlining on his tail a month after purchase, although i thought he was maturing and showing his true colors it turned out to be a fungal issue.

I don't have my test kit results at home with me but they were within safe parameters. Also, I'm not sure about any kind of fungus or rot. Antwon had the silver spots when I purchased him. There's no change in behavior and the other two guys aren't showing any discoloration. I would consider quarantining him but I really don't wanna stress him out or use meds on him that he doesn't need.
I've tried to get pics of them but they are FAST! I'll try harder, though. Meanwhile, is there anything I could do to figure out if it IS a fungus?
Thanks!
