do I have a name other than fancy tailed guppy?

Looks a lot like our yellow cobra strain of guppy. Snakeskin is the term for the intense scale shaped coloration on the body, and then the yellow tail color.




Edit: Forgot to explain that you wouldn't normally say snakeskin yellow cobra, but rather just yellow cobra, because 'cobra' covers that. I will ask Dino about the specific reason for the cobra term.

Hard to tell on the last picture without a male, but would venture it is some type of half black.
The difference between a snake skin and a cobra is that a cobras pattern is more intracate.

on my last post, they are one in the same fish..I just couldnt catch an entire body shot that was clear...he is half black tho with a funky colored tail

That is a she half black with funky colors.

Dino was saying without a male of the same strain it is hard to tell, because the males tend to show the features that get the descriptions. Yellow cobra females tend to be much less flashy than the males, but are still called yellow cobra, for example.

That is a pretty 1/2 Black..she has an interesting tail pattern..she will have some cool babies!
