Hi All,

I currently have 4 male guppies in a 15 g tank, they are very happy and peaceful. I would like to add some Cherry Barb and ghost shrimp, will they get along with the guppies? My main concern is the guppies as they have very nice tails, don't want them to get nipped.

Cherry barbs need at least five of their fellows, or they can get fin-nippy and aggressive. This would overload your tank. They would likely work together in a larger tank, there's simply not the room in your current tank.
Ghost shrimp, on the other hand, would be an excellent addition.

Fishies-for-me

I had 10 cherry barbs ( 2 males 8 females) in a 36 gallon with 10 glowlight tetras....one male cherry barb decided that the whole tank was his territory and piled all the other fish in about 1/2 gallon sized part of the tank and he had all the rest...if he was interested in a female he would let her out of the corner long enough to play with her...god help any other fish that moved out of the corner....20 fish in a 36 gallon and it looked empty....lol ...certain individuals can get aggressive.
