How many guppies?

I've haf my four female guppies together since bringing them home - rarely see any of them apart actually. I've determined it would be best for everyone that the girls move into my 10g once my killies are large enough to move back. They've been fussing a little with my angels and I really don't want to have to worry about fin damage when the angels get bigger.

Recently one of my guppies passed away. We're really not sure what happened. She was swimming around and then a few hours later we found her dead near one of the bubble disks.

Will the trio do okay in the 10g or should I look into picking up another female guppy or two? I believe it was with the males I was advised to keep groups of 4+ to avoid any bullying and I know when mixing its best to have 1m/2f but what is the general guideline with females?

With females, I would still look to keep at least 3 to a tank.
Preferably more, if the tank is large enough to support more fish.

I have never seen my male gups fight ...but the females and the babies can get into it every now and then!! ( The babies seem to be the worst...lol... typical kids!)

Hm, I'll be going to a store that was recommended awhile ago tomorrow so with any luck I'll find a pair of guppies young enough to comfortablly live in a 5g QT while the killies are still in the 10g. Hopefully I'll get lucky again and not have to worry about any fry but with my luck I'm sure I just jinxed myself ^^;

OK one of my guppies gave birth a couple of days ago. After I put her in a fish net breeder and the same night gave birth. Unfortunately while i was doing a p w c I must of dislodged the net releasing all but one of the fry. I think they must of all been eaten as I would of seen them close to the surface or would they try to hide in plants. Also does the only remaining fry stand much chance by himself ?
