Too Many Fish

Hello all, its been a little wile,

Well I have a little bit of an issue and I have a feeling no ones going to be able to help much, but I thought I would try. Ok so a few months back I restarted my tank with a few feeder guppies, the males looked more endler to me than anything, being much smaller and having coloring more characteristic of endlers. Any ways one of them gave birth to 11 fry and I now have 7, almost all sexually mature fish.

Here is the problem I have a 10 gallon tank with 4 female guppies, 2 male guppy/endlers and an otto. I now have 7 more fish, 2 males, 3 females and 2 that look like they are going to be males. Although it would over stock my tank I was thinking about putting them all in my tank, however now I am re-thinking this because it would make my tank 6 males to 7 females, which is not good. So I need to get rid of some fish. The problem is I don’t want to make them feeders since I’ve spent the last three months raising them. However I don’t think anyone’s going to want them because they are the offspring of feeders, although the males are kind of colorful, just small.

So does anyone know how I can find someone who might want my fish and will take care of them? You know someone who actually knows something about having an aquarium.

You can always give them to a LFS in your area.

Or put them on craigslist and screen the people before they take your fish!
