Mean Guppies-Tank Mates?

I have a 12 gallon tank that used to hold a albino Cory, two fancy guppies and an Oto. Not sure if it was the guppies or something else, but the Oto passed one day and I had to move the Cory to a tank of it's own because the guppies were nipping the fins right off the little guy. Poor Cory had no fins or tail left.

My question is, with guppies that are this aggressive to other tank mates, even those who were in residence longer, what can I put into a tank with them? It really bums me out to see a tank that size with only two guppies swimming around. And no, it doesn't look like they are nipping at each other.

Any advice is appreciated!!

well, my guppies have never been agressive to other tank mates, but I have found that they can actually be VERY mean to themselves.

guppies are supposed to be community fish, but they indeed can be agressive. I would recommend fish that wont let others bug them like a dwarf gourami (taking into consideration that dwarf gouramis are now passing through a virus...) , or a small school of neon tetras who are fast swimmers and hard to catch.
