I've got three female guppies in my 33 gallon tank. There are also males in the tank so I know that there will be babies at some point.

I can't really tell in my fishies are pregnant or just fat. From what I read I'd say that they were pregnant.

Take a look at my fishy pics and let me know what you think. Are they pregnant?

Yeah, I'd have to say those guys are pregnant. (From my expierience with platies). they could also be fat AND pregnant. But, if there are males in the tank, 99% of the time it's pregnancy and not fatness.

From my experience I would say you have at least one very heavily preg female and should get babies within a week....one is very square looking and that is a sign that the babies are near.

Most definitely preggers - if you see the dark spot at the back of the belly & the base of the tail, that's the sure sign right there. The darker that spot is, and the squarer her stomach gets, the closer she is to delivery.

Hrm... One of the guppies passed on about a week ago. I just noticed some fry the other day and the other two guppies still look pregnant! It looks like she died giving birth.

How small are guppy fry when first born? These guys were about 3mm long when I found them.
