Firecracker

Well I ended up with two "accidental" guppies (named Lucky and Chance). I picked up some plants and there were quite a few guppies of varying ages in the plant tank at the LFS, and two got scooped up with my new plants.

Chance is tiny yet and has very little tail, so I don't know if it's a young male or a female. Lucky has a red tail with spots. I hope they do well in our tank.

This is Lucky. He is very hard to photograph and Chance is worse because he/she is so tiny and not very brightly colored.

Add another surprise--seems like Chance may be a female, as she has a tiny but slightly bloated-looking belly and the dark spot at the back of the belly which I have read may mean she's pregnant. She's so tiny I didn't think that would happen, but it sure looks that way now.
