Colored Fry?

So I'm finding a bunch of orange/gold colored fry. They are brand new. The other guppies fry we have had to this point have all been colorless. Could these be platy fry? I've got both guppies and platys in the tank. I'm just trying to find out who mom is. I have a few guppies and a few platys that look like they are going to pop.

It does sound like Platy fry. They're often more colorful than guppy fry. What type of platys do you have?

Ditto this, 2 of my gups had fry over the weekend - 20 total so far. Some are colorless, but some you can tell are orange/red tint or yellow tinted. I thought it was odd as well.

We have 1 female sunburst platy (thought we had 3 but I think 2 turned male...see my posts under Platy section) and 2 rainbow platy's. I still can't figure out who was having them. I'll go try to take a picture of them.

OK here's a pic of the new fry and the 9 day old fry.

Funny, I spend all this money on a camera for my wife and the fry are so small I can't get good focus on them.
