she might be young. She may have eaten some too. Were there any other fish in the tank when she gave birth? If not, she will probably have bigger batches as she gets older. How far apart did she have them?

That is about what we get out of most of our guppy drops.

The females that drop massive loads are usually heavily overfed.

Yes, this is perfectly alright.Depending on the size of the female that will give you a range of how many she can give birth to. But I hope you don't keep the male and females together because this could be a disaster. You will have to many fryto take care of, you will damage the water quality, and the females will become exusted from giving birth, and being chased by the males. Which can then lead to to your females being easily sick, and die.

We averaged around 15 per drop with our red fancy gups.

it was about 27 or 28 days between the two drops
there are only 3 guppies in my 10 gal. 1m and 2f
ive actually seen a few more..but they are too fast and find a nice hiding spot before i can get a net to them hopefully they will make it

They are fast little ones. We had to take everything out of the tank to net them and get them to safety.

As long as you have 1m to 2 or more females your ratios are good and you have no need to seperate the guppies. We leave our males and females in the same 10g tanks together (seperated each strain, but both genders of each strain are together.) Glad you are having success with them.

We've never had issue either with guppy fry becoming so plentiful that they foul the water and cause the need for extra waterchanges... the parents will just eat them if there are that many.

Best of luck with the fry.
