2day i got umm like 2 lil baby guppys with very nice tails both male and my older larger male keeps chasing them and nipping at there beautiful tails so i put him in my betta tank to punish him, i thought it might changed his attetude to the baby guppy and if he doesnt His going town the toilet bowl...

lol na just joking ill just give him away for something i just thought it might help i dunno hopefully.

Putting a guppy in with a betta is only bad for the betta and the guppy. It won't do anything to help. The reason that he's chasing them is most likely due to an inbalance in male/female ratio as well as them being new to the tank.

no thats chasing effect kinda is off now he doesn't even care anymore and the reason the guppy does it i think is because they have bigger tails than them and there is no female for them 2 fight over

Is he still in the Betta tank? If you leave him in there long enough I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Betta killed him.
