2 new fish with 2 problems, help

Hi. I am looking for some help. We have a 25 gal. with only one tiny guppy. I told my ds, I would take him and let him pick a couple.
We did. They seem fine now, we JUST got them today and put them in. I did notice one had kind of a "bulgy" looking eye. Well, now, I see the female has ICH. So, searching the net appears we now have 2 parasites in the tank. I assume too late to remove the guppy we have had and put him(very healthy) in another tank until this clears.
Any ideas what the eye thing could be and how to go about taking care of it and the ich?
TIA

Sounds like Popeye. Do frequent water changes and you can use medicine for Popeye. Also feed them vitamin enriched food if you can.

Oblivion has you covered and sounds very right.

As for the ich you can raise the water temperature slowly to 83 degrees farenheit. Slowly as in 2-3 degrees per hour. Make sure you have only tropical fish in the tank before raising the temperature. Leave it at 83 degrees farenheit for 2 weeks.

Ich, you can slowly raise your temperature to 82F degrees, but make sure it's not too way off of your fishes' temperature range. That will lower its life cycle and you can get some medicine for Ich.

Thanks! It just has me freaked now with 2 brandnew fish with 2 different problems. We have dealt with ich in both the fresh and our salt water, ever fails new fish arghh! OK, so basically just adjusting the water temp for ich(I have one of those ich tablets but not sure if I should go ahead and do that or not). Frequent water changes, makes since anyway and meds for the pop eye. And that should limit anything for now.
Any brands or names on either meds for these? I just hate to spend the money if it can be helped in other ways.

I'm not sure about brands but yeah
-Slowly raise temperature to 82F degrees
-Add Ich Medicine
-Do frequent water changes

For Popeye
-Frequent water changes (it's caused by bacterial infection, so keep the water clean!)
-Give Popeye medicine
-Find vitamin-enriched fish food

Honestly the increased temperature and the frequent waterchanges (once every other day at rates of 50% per time for a week or two) would go the distance, and probably cure both. If it is not showing signs of improvement after a week I would then look into the medications.

Methylene Blue is a light anti-bacterial medication if needed. (It doesn't harm the kidneys nearly as much as normal medications)

I agree on holding off on meds for ich. The only thing we'll use for Ich is an herbal organic liquid called ich-attack that's safe even for fry & scaleless fish and not hard on your fish's systems. Fairly steady warm water of 82-83F with water changes and keeping the bottom clean are the main weapons against the ich.
