help, my 4 guppy's just stay at the top of the tank ,i just got them today is this normal behaviour ?

well if there just haning out up there..mine do that and my are doing pretty good but if the are gasping at the surface for air it could be amonia poisioning

They're probably stressed if you just got them today, give them a few days.

Also, at night they sleep at the surface of the water.

Post again if they are still staying at top all the time even during day after the next 2 days.
