I started out with four neon dwarf gourami, lost one due to a a
water change/cleaning accident. Well I lost another one today. I don't know how it died. I do know that it kept getting thinner and thinner, almost transparent like. My husband found her dead and stuck to the filter tube. When I scooped her out, she looked like her tail was half gone. I have two males remaining. I don't think the males got to her only because they never have in the past. They've never been aggressive with the only female.
What could have caused her to become paper thin? I"ve seen her eat, so it's not like she was starved.
All the other fish are doing good.
Thanks!
