Hi all,
I will be purchasing a 300L/55 UK gallons aquarium soon.
I already have
1 Silver Shark
2 Silver Dollars
which I would like to transfer into the 300L tank.
Im thinking of buying 2 Honey Gouramis because these swim at the top of the tank and the other fish I have swim at the bottom. Also they are beautiful fish. Would the Honey Gourami be suitable for my tank or any types of fish?

with some taller plants to feel safe in, i think they would be fine ..they are adorable fish!

I'm rather suire that the silver dollars will eat real plants (?)

you can have fake silk plants that are tall...

I've got a honey gourami - super cute! - and I find that he's a pretty timid little guy, he's also not great with current - I had to turn down the AquaClear as far as possible. Mine's only 1.5" right now, teeny little bugger. I actually decided to NOT add him to my 20g community bc I was concerned about him being bullied - my black neon tetras are bigger than he is! I plan to make a 'nano-community' tank with him, some ember tetras and pygmy corydoras. If it were me, I think I'd go with a gold gourami in a tank that size and with those tankmates.

Yes prarielilly a gold is so pretty and a 55 is truly good enough for a couple or,,, gouramis.
