Stuborn sparklers

Well, I got 4 sparkling gouramis about 5 days ago and last night I noticed that two of them started breeding and dropping eggs! I stayed up for a while and watched this, it was pretty cool. Now today when I get home from school they wouldn't eat the flakes or go to the top to get the crumbled shrimp I put in there. What should I do!? I don't want to lose these guys, there my new favourite! Thanks!

do they look like they're defending the eggs?

No, they let them drop and that was it.... all of them are swimming merrily around the tank. except they didn't eat.

thats funny, cause i just read they were bubble nest builders and bubble nest breeders, and you say they dropped the eggs?

Ya, I was surprised too! The male and female got right up against each other and did some circles with each other and then the female dropped about 3-5 eggs and they did this like 10 times. everytime they would eat as many of the eggs as they could before they got to the bottom, which was weird I thought.
