Picked 3 of these guys up as an impulse buy. They didnt look like much in the store...just tiny brown fishies, but still interesting.

Now that they are home, in the right light, their colors are amazing, just so much detail on their scales and fins. And their eyes as well are an incredible neon blue/orange.

These tiny guys (< 1in) have huge personalities too...very curious, but cautious. Its like you can imagine them thinking about everything they are eyeing. They are always investigating what the other fish are up to. I've read that these fish are shy, but these guys are up and about and enjoy socializing with my rainbows.

Aren't they lovely? I'm not a big fan of gouramis, but I love these guys.

Butters

I bought one for my 10 gallon about a month ago, poor guy was so shy he wouldnt come out, not even to eat. As you can imagine he didn't make it. I might get a group of these for my neon replacments.

Barbrella

Sparkling gouramis are awesome! So many fish look like nothing in petstores but transform into beauties in the right environment.
