Would a Pearl Gourami work?

I'm in the process of adjusting the stock for my 46 gallon bow front planted tank (Filtration of 125 gallons). My plan so far is:

6 Cherry Barbs - I have 5
6 Cories - I have 3
4 Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish
3 Kuhli Loaches
3 Zebra Danios
2 Leopard Danios
1 Dwarf Gourami - check
1 Angelfish - check
1 Bristlnose Pleco
10+ Ghost shrimp - I have 5

My heart isn't set on the Rainbow Fish, so I could definitely substitute them with the Pearl Gourami. Don't they grow up to 6"? My concern is with the Dwarf Gourami and the Angelfish. I would get a female since they aren't as aggressive. The Angelfish and DG are both about 2", probably a little smaller right now. I have a lot of smaller schooling fish planned, and I was hoping to get another bigger fish. It doesn't necessarily have to be the Pearl Gourami, but that's the one I fell in love with. Would it work?

Pearl Gouramis grow to about 4". I wouldn't keep one with dwarfs or angelfish, since pearls are often very timid and shy and may be picked on and might not eat if harassed.

Danios can be quite nippy and the slow moving angelfish can be a target.

With the list of fish you have, your tank will be somewhat overstocked so I wouldn't be adding anything else. Both angelfish and gouramis are extremely sensitive to any toxins, so I personally might reduce the stock list to ensure better water params.

My Dwarf Gourami made it through the cycle, so I guess he's more hardy than I originally thought. I have 125 gallons of filtration, so all that really limits me is swimming space. I do weekly water changes of 25%, usually more... my water params are perfect every time I test it. I also thought if Zebra Danios/Leopard Danios wouldn't nip if they were in schools.
