Hi,

I have already posted my question in the Tetras section but I feel that I posted in the wrong section of the forum. Sorry my first time !

My new gold gourami is pretty aggresive to my lonely blood heart tetra. Chases him all day long. He doesn't hurt him but I don't want the tetra to die from stress. What can I do to reduce the stress for the tetra? Rearrange the plants? Add another plant for the tetra to hide? Take back the GG to LFS ?
Help!

hi katwright...posting a double thread will only confuse others and get you less answers...I think most of the help you got on the other thread, answers all the issues for your gourami ....

i had the same problem with my gold gourami, picking on my other 3 gouramis
unfortunatly he died, either since i had added the fish to the tank before it was cycled, or because he ate too much, not sure

i hope you fix your problem

gourami's are territorial and need lots of space to get away from one another...so if there isnt enough room to escape, and a tank isnt cycled which brings on more stress, its almost inevitable sorry for the loss of your lil guy
