Sunset Gourami With OCD...HELP??

I have 4 dwarf gouramis in the 55, they are all fine, no problems.

Several weeks ago, I bought a small suset gourami, for a second smaller tank of small fish -- and he is psycho. He spends the whole day swimming up and down in the corners at the back of the tank. Or he will swim behind the plants at the back of the tank. There is a small honey gourami in the tank as well, there are no problems between them. I am not even sure the sunset is eating much, at feeding time, he just swims up and down, same as ever. He is very weird.

Tankmates are 4 white skirt tetras, and 3 tiny black rasbora hets., 3 otos. There are no problems with or aggression amongst any of these guys. Water parameters good.

Any ideas?? Think he is looking for a way outLOL

Ha, ha, their tank is beside the computer, the littlest oto was just chasing the rasboras..??..?? what do ya know...a brave baby oto - they are very little!!! Cute!

I have a sunset that does the same thing !!!..maybe they are brothers!!! but they are territorial even if some say they arent.. so maybe the other gourami's are set in their ways...mines a few weeks old and is finally settleing down a lil bit...or maybe there are more males and they seem to not like that situation as much as having 1 male and the rest fems...goodluck!

He's stressed. It may or may not settle down. If it doesn't settle soon, see if you can trade it from place of purchase.
Do keep an eye on it to see if it may be bumping into things.
