well i purchased to honey gourami for a friend and the LFS guy told me that they get along well and there not as aggressive as the other breeds of grourami. and the way it seems there doing quit well in her 10 gallon. I been thinking i have a spare 10 gallon thats not being used and my dads favorite fish in my 20 gallon is my dwarf gourami so i thought i could set up the 10 gallon in there room and buy them 2 honey gourami is that ok would they get along if its a male and female. and is there a actual chance that a dwarf gourami will get along with a honey gourami i have heard about it but not sure if its is actually true or not.

honey gouramis are mostly peacful. I would add 1 male and 2 females they only get about 2 inches so you should be ok there.

I'm curious too; I have one dwarf in my 56g, and a honey dwarf in my 10g (had a pair, but one died). I'm thinking of moving the honey to the 56g and getting a betta for the 10g once I'm sure the honey is ok in the 56 with the dwarf.

I don't know why, but I've never had multiple gouramis get along in the same tank. But the largest tank I've had is the 30 tall, I have now.
