My school of 6 tiger barbs has begun to grow out of their 20gal, so I was wondering if they would be okay in my 55gal long with my 2 pearl gouarmis.

I realize they are fin nippers, but if they are in a group of 6 or more would they be okay?

Thanks! I think i'm going to expand my school to around 10, the lfs just got an order of platiunum tiger barbs! they are so beautiful!!!

But i'll leave the tank they're in running for a while just in case

Agree that they should be fine with other large, semi-aggressive fish. But keep an eye out for the barbs nipping the long "feelers" of the gouramis.
