tropical girl

I plan on taking my comet goldfishes outside this summer making my own pond using a kiddie pool or simular structure, I want to keep the fish on the deck so prey animals are not after them...I have 4 two are all orange and the other 2 are orange/white. 1.5 to 2'' long each. Does anyone have any advise to make the move and transition a smooth one, problems I should look out for? Thanks.

I have a goldfish that goes outside in a 25g tub every summer. I usually set the tubs up, put gravel in and let it circulate for a couple of days then add the goldfish in late may. I add the big rocks and decorations from the tub inside so there is enough bacteria to almost instantly cycle the outside tub. Hope that helps.
