Nocturnal Fish?

Are Black Moors known for being nocturnal? All this time I assumed my fish Molly was feeling ill because she would stay in one spot in the morning and hide in her aquarium castle durring most of the day. It wasn't until last night around 11PM that I noticed her swiming about, scavanging for food, and seeming having a ball even though her aquarium lights were off. Maybe she really was healthy along despite the tank cycling. What do you think?

Some fish are really shy. It depends on their personality IMO. Molly is probably still shy and feels safe only to come out in the dark when no one is around. So it should be normal for shy fishies Give her time to get use to it. Do you have a pic of your Molly?

She'll probably warm up to you. It's taken a while but Charlie now follows me around his tank hoping if he's cute enough I'll feed. Sucker that I am I usually do

I think you guys are right. When I came home from picking my daughter up from school, she was swiming around merilly. The moment she saw us she shot right back into the castle again. I hope she gets over feeling shy. She wasn't shy back when she had her tank-mate Goldie. Oh well. At least she's not sick anymore despite my tank cycling.

Oh ...unfortunately my camera broke a year ago and haven't gotten the funds together yet to get a new one. The extra money goes for the fish tank now.
