Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any type of snails that get along ok with goldies and have the same temp/water requirements? (my son wants snails.) Thanks!

get some apple snails , they don't breed!

sometimes goldfish can peck at the antennae on apple snails. nerites are a good option.

Pond snails - I had tons of them in my pond with my goldies until I got a CAE...now, very few snails...

My goldfish worried my one apple snail to death - literally. They pecked at the stalks and generally nipped at it, so it almost never came out of the shell. It was a miserable life for the poor snail.

I wouldn't recommend any type of mystery/apple snail for goldfish.
