I'm getting such a kick out of watching my two new
goldfish in the quarantine tank. On Thursday I bought a red & white oranda, she was very shy and spent the first 2 days hiding out in a corner at the bottom.
The next nite when I added the fantail, she perked right up, and has been imitating whatever the fantail does. The fantail spent his first day mostly up at the surface in the corner..... so the oranda did the same, and stayed right next to him.
The next day the fantail felt more comfortable, and started digging around in the gravel.

Yep, the oranda started doing the same.
Today, they're both swimming in and out of the arch decoration I have in there.... totally entertaining themselves..... until they see me, then the beg-for-food-dance starts.

It's only been 3 days, how quickly they learn !
btw, I have
no idea if they're male or female at this point. lol. But you know how you just get a feel about it ? Now that I've decided the sex of them

I have to work on naming them.
