Sick goldfish? (rohan's question)

Hey everyone
I really like the response you guys have been giving Zoe, maybe you guys can help me out. i have a 55 gal with 5 goldfish in it. Panda Orangea haven't been himself lately. He is not as actively like before. The water test is good for all readings. He moves around alot when it is feeding time, then after a while he will sit on the bottom. There are no signs of ick or any other disease.....I'm lost, please help.

Hi rohan, I moved your question to a thread of it's own. It'll get more attention and be less cpnfusing this way.

I'm sorry your goldy isn't feeling well.
Is your aquarium info correct? It says your nitrite readings is 20?

hi rohan, welcome to the forum !

Because of their egg-shaped bodies, Orandas can be prone to some digestive problems, and swim bladder issues, as well as constipation.

What do you feed your fish?

Whenever my oranda doesn't seem herself, I offer some peas. You can use frozen peas, fresh, or canned. If frozen or fresh, boil in some water for about a minute or so, to soften. Deshell them, allow to cool completely, then mush up a few and put them in the tank. (also try to see him poop. See if it's normal, or white and stringy, or clear. The color and consistency of their poop can help identify a problem)

is there anything else going on ? Is there any rapid gill movement ? Has anything in the tank changed or been added ? any new fish introduced to the tank recently?
