Pealscale Goldfish

Pearlscales in my 75 gallons community tank, they're less than 2 inches each, I have 3
In tank I have: 8 guppies, 2 mollies, 1 black ghost knife (3 inches), 2 leopard angels (2 inches), 2 albino angels (2 inches), 1 common pleco (1 inch), 17 neon tetras, 1 ranchu goldfish (2 inch) and 1 albino cory (so lonely ) I'm planning to get a new tank when the ghost grow up so they don't eat my tetras. They are all living peacefully right now

your tank looks great !

but just a little advice about the pearlscales.... goldfish can't be in a community tank with tropicals. They should only be homed with other goldfish.

They have different temp preferences and different food requirements, and need much more filtration than most tropicals. Because of their egg-shape, they are prone to digestive problems such as swim bladder, and shouldn't be fed flake or anything that hasn't been soaked really well. ( There's some good threads here on the forum regarding goldfish food) Plus, 2 pearlscales would need a minimum of 30 gallons just for them, as they will grow really large, 8inches or even larger.

oops, just noticed you have a ranchu in there too.

Beautiful fish you have ! If I could make a suggestion.... Since you said you'll be getting another tank anyway.... I'd keep the 4 goldfish in the 75gallon, and get the new tank for the tropicals ! Good luck with your fishes.... and your tanks! Everything looks beautiful!

Everything looks Great! Beautiful fish. Some good advice above about housing the goldfish separately when you can. I really think they all will be much happier, the goldies and the tropicals. Goldfish are major waste producers. Have fun and enjoy your fish!

yup. that is the 75 gallon tank, it looks small because it have a lot of height for the angel fish. and yup i will try and transfer them as soon as possible when i can gather some money, I'm still a highschool student so not much income, all the money i use to buy fish is my pocket money saved up .

Just keep an eye on your water chemistry and upgrade to a larger tank or an additional tank when you can
