Tail fin of my goldies make me worry - please help

Hi
I have two large sized goldies , in which one has a nodule like object 2MM in length inside its tail fins .......

What should i do now , i am scared .

I have been taking car of them very well .

One more question i have is about using a Heater
I use heater beacuse i have other fishes in my tank, i keep it at 28degree celcius , will this affect my golgies .
Are angels and sharks affected by temperature change, if the answer is NO then i can remove the heater.

I'm sorry something is wrong with your goldie.

A few members advised you about problems with your tank in this thread:
nnnnnnnnnn
I think if you resolved those issues your goldie would start to feel better.

Good luck, I hope he improves. Goldies are very smart and have a great personality.

I agree with Lucy.
To answer the question about the angels and sharks; they are tropical fish and need a stable, warm temperature. If they don't have it, they will be ill. In the short term, such a temp won't really hurt a goldy, though it may suck the coloring out of it. In the long term, it will be stressed (in addition to the stress caused by too high of a bioload in the tank).

what do you mean by Bio load

Bio load is referring to the amount of waste that a fish produces, which requires alot more bacteria to process that waste.

You can take a look at this:

http://www.fishlore.com/FishFAQs.htm
How many tropical fish can I have?
The often stated general rule of thumb (don't stock your tank using this rule!) is 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. Remember to use the future adult size of your fish when computing the total inches of fish you can have. This rule is pretty silly if you think about it though. Do you think a 20 inch fish would be comfortable in a 20 gallon tank? A better rule would be 1 inch of fish per 2 or 3 gallons of water. Avoid the temptation to overcrowd your tank. If you do overcrowd the tank you will need to perform maintenance more often and you risk the health of the fish you are keeping!

You don't, you just buy more tanks to accommodate the fish.

That's why I went from a 20g tank to a 10g, a 20g, a 29g, and a 90g tank, with a 200g coming sooner or later.
